Maintenance services offered we recommend that every five years we screen and coat the floor.  Over time the finish wears down from foot traffic, keeping the finish built up with a screen and coat not only saves money compared to a refinish but also adds years to your floor's life.  With a screen and recoat the hardwood is never sanded, thus giving it more longevity.  It also gives your hardwood floor a brand new look.  Most screen and coats only take one day vs a refinish that takes on average 5 days.

Maintaining the hardwood floor: We recommend using a sweeping pad or broom for dust and debri, and a microfiber cloth with Bona Professional Series Hardwood Cleaner for mopping.  Don't forget that wood and water don't mix, any sitting water including that from a traditional mop could damage your floor.  Pet urine is a nasty enemy to hardwood flooring, oak most especially.  Pet urine can cause very dark stains that cannot be sanded out.  Felt padding for any moving furniture is highly recommended.  I attached a photo of the pads, I recommend this design specifically over a sticky pad or a pad with a nail.
